A Little More Cardio

This week has flown by! I decided to add some extra cardio to my weeks, and Coach Nick gave me an endurance program to help with my running. I have been doing the extra program for two weeks, and I can already tell a difference! We had a workout that involved running towards the end of the week, and I found myself not as out of breath as I normally am during those workouts. I actually finished that workout with 5 seconds to spare from the time cap. It's the small things that make me happy.

I am still in limbo with the scale- I seem to be gaining and losing the same 3 pounds. I know it has to do with what kinds of food I'm eating (especially the sodium count), and also the amount of water that I'm taking in, but I still find myself feeling just a little let down when I see that number go up. I'm getting better at that though. I try to stay focused because last month, I only lost 1.6 pounds, and while that might not seem like a lot, the progress pictures showed a big difference!

I feel like I ate pretty well this week- maybe 90% healthy. I found a recipe on Pinterest for a Keto Chicken Cheese Bake, and it is delicious! For my lunches, I went back to the beginning and made the One Pot Lasagna Skillet. Man, I forgot how good that recipe was! I feel that since I had good lunches and dinners, it helped me not stray so far, even when I wanted to.
