This week turned out to be a busy, but good week. I stuck to my meal plans, and even decided to mix it up a little and eat an extra meal during the day. For that extra meal, I mixed together low-fat Greek yogurt, strawberries, honey, and a scoop of protein powder, and it was more like a healthy treat than a meal. My version totaled up to 30 grams of protein, 10 grams of fats, and 25 grams of carbs. I hit my macros every day this week, and to be honest, it has been a good minute since I have been strict on that. I have felt so good this week!
The Crossfit Open is officially over for this year, and I actually moved up quite a bit from earlier this year. Crossfit headquarters made a lot of changes to their schedules, so we had two Open competitions this year instead of one. In February, a month and a half into starting back to Crossfit, I ranked 88,073rd in the World, and 46,474th in the U.S. Now, I rank 50,528 in the World, and 19,869th in the U.S.! That is a lot of progress in a short time frame, and I could not be happier. It's amazing what a little friendly competition can bring out of you.
