Winging It

The cravings were back this week, and I did wind up caving because I did not want to cook Sunday night. Those two slices of Meat Lovers pizza were totally worth it, and I savored every bite! Every now and then I will give in just enough to satisfy a craving because if I don't, I will eventually over indulge in something later down the road.

If you haven't already figured it out, I like my lazy days—especially when it's a four day weekend! I'm not exactly proud to say it, but I winged the entire Labor Day weekend when it came to food. Saturday, my mom and I went down to Jacksonville to my sister-in-law's album release party, so I did have to eat on the road. We stopped at Chick-fil-A for lunch, where I ordered grilled chicken nuggets and a side salad, and by the time we got hungry on the way back, the only place around was Fire House subs, so I did get a small hook and ladder. I just nibbled mostly on random proteins and healthy carbs for the rest of my four day weekend.

I only went to CrossFit three times this week—holiday weeks tend to confuse me as I tend to get my days mixed up, so I missed Tuesday's workout. I'm rocking some glorious bruises on the front of my thighs from doing 50 hang power cleans from Thursday's work out though. I'm ending the work week on a strong note with a nice running workout. Yay..Haha!
