Archbold offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and in-home rehabilitation services. Our comprehensive and coordinated rehabilitation program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology services provided by highly trained and experienced therapists. Inpatient and outpatient therapy services are available at all Archbold hospitals across the region, including Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Brooks County Hospital in Quitman, Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla and Grady General Hospital in Cairo. Archbold long-term care facilities also offer short-term, as well as long-term rehabilition care options.
Archbold Memorial Hospital offers a variety of therapy services including Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology for patients in the acute care hospital. Therapy begins with a physician referral for these services.
Our Rehabilitation program offers these services to individuals who have a variety of diagnoses which include orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, cardiac diseases, arthritis, amputations, as well as many other illnesses that are affecting functional ability.
The main goal of acute rehab is to prepare patients for safe discharge from the acute care setting. Our highly trained and friendly staff work closely with other members of the health care team including nurses, doctors, social workers, other therapists, and dietitians to provide quality care, and to ensure an easy transition to home or other health care setting.
Archbold's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center offers goal-directed treatments that are used to help patient's return to their daily activity levels. Licensed professionals and clinicians use state-of-the-art equipment and new technologies to help patients return to happy and healthy lives post-surgery or illness.

Home Health Services
Archbold Home Health Services supports patients with a variety of treatments and procedures, each personalized according to the attending physician's prescribed orders. In addition to skilled nursing services, Archbold Home Health provides a full range of in-home rehabilitation services including physicial therapy, occupational therapy and speach therapy. We provide the vital link between the physician and the patient, with the compassion the patient needs and deserves. Our experienced professionals are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Archbold Home Health Services is a private, non-profit agency, licensed and certified by the Georgia Department of Human Resources. It is a designated Medicare and Medicaid provider. The agency is self-supporting and receives no county or state funding. Services are provided without regard to age, race, creed, color, handicap, religion or national origin.
