General Surgery

General surgery is the surgical treatment for abdominal organs such as the intestines, esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas,  gallbladder and bile ducts, thyroid gland and lungs. A general surgery may also be used to treat non-cosmetic problems related to skin, breast and hernias.

General surgery is used for a variety of treatments, including the following:
